The base comes equipped with an anti-collision mechanism that stops movement if there is an obstruction beneath the desk. The single motor height adjustable base moves up and down without any presets. When this base is paired with a HON BASYX table top, it provides a height adjustable desk that is suitable for smaller commercial office applications or larger home workspaces. It is very easy to affix a table top to this standing desk base, as the top comes with pre-drilled holes that match up with the base. For long-lasting durability, the standing desk legs are powder coated metal and the unit can hold an evenly distributed 150 lb of weight. The built-in leveling glides keep this desk base wobble-free and firmly in place on uneven floors with screw threaded feet that adjust up or down easily.
